I am just back from Israel last week to show my wife and son David the promised land.
This brought me back to my very first contact with Israel and that was you and Abi.

Last year I wanted to attend your concert but I couldn't make it. It was on a weekday and I had to work. I live in the Netherlands and the distance was too big to be on time. This year your performance was on a Sunday and I also had a week holidays, so I was able to come to Hamburg. It was great to hear and see you singing. You still have a lovely voice and I noticed the people enjoyed your concert. My friend and I enjoyed it too!!! In the hotel I met people who came all the way from Austria. Do you realise people come from far to listen to you?
I hope you will be able to continue singing. Perhaps I can come again.

verzeihen Sie bitte, dass ich Ihnen nicht auf Englisch schreibe, aber ich bin nicht mehr der Jüngste und meine Englischkenntnisse haben nachgelassen. Vielleicht können Sie genug Deutsch, um meine E-Mail zu verstehen.

Ich hörte heute einen Ihrer alten Songs und möchte Ihnen hierzu etwas mitteilen.

Ich bin 48er Jahrgang, musikalisch, singe gerne, spielte in den 60ern in einer Beatband und heute greife ich privat noch manchmal zu meiner Gitarre. Ich mochte schon immer jede Art von anspruchsvollerer Musik, insbesondere Folksongs.

In den 60ern hörte ich oft Musik von Ihnen und Abi. Sie waren ein hervorragendes Gesangsduo, sehr musikalisch und Ihre Stimmen passten optimal zusammen.

Als ich heute Abend mit meiner Frau am Speisetisch saß, mich über das gute Essen und einen vorzüglichen Wein freute, hörten wir leise im Hintergrund schöne Radiomusik. Da kam von Ihnen und Abi der wunderschöne Song „Morning of my life“. Dieser Song von Ihnen und Abi, den ich in meiner Jugendzeit oft hörte, löste bei mir starke Emotionen aus, weckte schöne Erinnerungen und ein Teil meiner Jugend wurde wieder wach und lebendig.

Es gab und gibt viele Frauen, die schöne Lieder sangen bzw. singen, aber Sie gehören zu einer ganz besonderen Klasse, Sie sind von Ihrer Stimme und Ihrem Singtalent her eine herausragende Sängerin.

Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute und verbleibe

I have always loved this song, Took it upon myself today to research it a little and ended up watching dozens of music video versions. I can honestly say, with out a doubt, that the black & white music video of you from the 60's/70's should be protected in a vault for world eternity. Your voice and physical beauty combined is unlike anything I have ever witness. in my life. What I would give to turn the clocks back and watch you sing this song live at that precise moment. Beautiful in every way.
